Griezmann will be the focus of Atletico's attack come Saturday, April 8 when his team will try to derail Real's march toward the Spanish league title.

Manchester United are known to be long time admirers of Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann whose Old Trafford summer switch would cost José Mourinho € 100 million which is the release clause included in the Frenchman's contract with the Colchoneros. He's worked to improve, worked to integrate himself into a club that was different to the one he came from, and matured from being a boy to becoming a man on the pitch, taking responsibility and making decisions according to what the team needs. "But. we have to fight for it", Barcelona coach Luis Enrique said.

Atletico remain third in the table, 10 points (and having played a game more) behind Real.

Scans revealed he would miss both legs against Bayern, who warmed up for Wednesday's showdown with a 4-1 thumping of Borussia Dortmund.

"You can't wonder how to stop him", Zidane said about Griezmann.

Bayern injuries a major concern ahead of Dortmund clash
Bremen took a first-half lead when Zlatko Junuzovic's superb long ball was headed in by defender Theodor Gebre Selassie. The Bavarians almost levelled with their first real chance when Roberto Lewandowski's strike hit the crossbar.

Atletico are the only team to have faced Zidane's Madrid away from home and kept a clean sheet, while Diego Simeone's side had won on their last three visits in the league, but they were second-best for the majority of a sun-baked encounter.

Cristiano Ronaldo holds the record for goals in the Madrid derby with 18 following his hat trick in November to earn a 3-0 victory for Real Madrid at the Vicente Calderon Stadium. "It was tough, but we got the draw thanks to a great pass by Angelito", Griezmann said.

"We'll see, these types of signings make a lot of headlines and he's a great player who's been proving himself for a few years", Ramos told the media. "We are playing well and hopefully can do things better".

Barcelona will go top temporarily on goal difference should they beat Malaga.

- Real Madrid have found the net in 52 consecutive matches in all competitions, the best run ever for a La Liga side. "I am sure that if we win it will give us even more confidence and help us for what lies ahead".
