The Uttar Pradesh government on Wednesday transferred 20 senior IAS officers, including Navneet Sehgal and Rama Raman, who were considered influential in the erstwhile government.
All his charges have been handed over to Avanish Awasthi, who returned from a deputation in the central government.
An official release here said that Sehgal has been put on the wait list and Awasthi has got charge of all the departments held by him.
