Interestingly, the Samsung India website confirms that the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus with dual SIM will be released in the country.

Even with the strong pre-orders, executives at Samsung acknowledged its reputation won't be rebuilt overnight.

With the Samsung Galaxy S8 launched, many wondered if there will be an "Active" variant that will be launched this year.

Samsung's comments about pre-orders comes just a day after reports surfaced that its Bixby voice-activated personal assistant won't make its debut in the Galaxy S8 in the US after all.

Some investors and analysts believe the S8 could set a first-year sales record for Samsung, Reuters reports.

The new smartphones are being closely watched because these devices mark the first major launch by Samsung after the devastating battery issues that forced the company to recall the Note7 and stop its production altogether in October past year.

The submissions drawn by advocate Madhvi Divan have been settled by the Attornewy Genewral Mukul Rohatgi. Nissa's suicide comes at a time when triple talaq has turned into a raging debate in the country.

"The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus reached 728,000 units, as of Wednesday, in Korea".

Like its predecessors, the Galaxy S8 Active will likely be based on the standard Galaxy S8, albeit with a ruggedized exterior.

The handset, available in two models - 5.8in and 6.2in - in terms of screen sizes, has the largest screen to date among all Samsung flagship devices.

The tech giant also introduced the DeX, or Desktop Extension, which allows users to utilize the Galaxy S8 smartphone like a personal computer. With the rest of the world, it is easy to estimate that Samsung sold millions of the S8, and it seem like that customers didn't lose the trust is the company after the Note 7 blow up fiasco. The S8 is already real, but we don't have actual details on the next iPhone. With these figures, it is obvious that the company - and fans - have put behind the Galaxy Note 7 debacle from 2016.

But, the dynamics surely have changed with this smartphone as the Galaxy S8 has a 95 percent screen-to-body ratio and we have no info on how Samsung plans to make the outer casing/design rugged.

Samsung has considered flexible screens in the past and concept ad made a few years ago shows how a foldable smartphone could work.
