Mugshot of Reality Winner, who is being held at Lincoln County Jail in Georgia. The prosecutor said investigators also found the names of three Islamic extremists known to federal authorities listed in Winner's notebook.

NSA leaker Reality Winner will plead not guilty to charges she leaked classified information to a reporter, her lawyer told NPR Wednesday.

Victor is accused of "removing classified material from a government facility and mailing it to a news outlet", according to a federal complaint.

Wearing an orange jumpsuit and leg shackles, victor pleaded not guilty in US district court to charges that she illegally retained and transmitted national defense information. "I don't think she's seeing a light at the end of the tunnel", Billie Winner said.

Reality Winner was caught because she was stupid, not because of anything the reporter (s) did or didn't do.

If convicted, victor faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison and/or a fine of up to $250,000, according to court documents.

Prosecutors plan to ask a judge to deny bond for 25-year-old Reality Winner, according to court records filed in the case.

Victor reportedly told federal agents she mailed the classified document to the undivulged media outlet, according to court documents.

She started learning Arabic on her own before she finished high school, a language she loved, said her mother, Billie Winner-Davis.

The OECD has raised its 2017 GDP projection for Poland to 3.6 percent from 3.2 percent in a November forecast. Global growth remains below long-term averages, however, and wages are not yet growing as much as hoped.

Gary Davis, Winner's stepfather, said she turned down a full college scholarship to join the Air Force. She's never run away from anything in her life.

In the process, the intelligence agency noticed that the reports "appeared to be folded and/or creased, suggesting they had been printed and hand-carried out of a secured space", according to the official legal complaint.

Winner also has a Twitter account under the alias Sara Winners - although she had a visible profile photo of herself - where she was repeatedly critical of President Trump.

After authorities determined the model and serial numbers of the printer that produced the secret documents, as well as the date and time of the printing, they were able to arrest victor.

Victor also told her mother she feared for her life and the life of her pets, and asked her mother to "play up that angle", Solari alleged.

The judge said he was anxious about what happened to the portable hard drive prosecutors mentioned, as well as references victor had made in her notebook about the Middle East.

Winner posted under a pseudonym, Sara Winners, but didn't seem concerned with concealing her identity, using a photo of herself as a profile picture and posting a selfie in February. "She's going to be made an example of", Winner's mother said. "She serves her community; she served her country".

Prosecutors said a phone call to her sister expressed Winner's confidence in how to play the court during her bond hearing.

The Department of Justice has said victor admitted to the accusations against her, but Nichols, told the Associated Press "if there is a confession, the government has not shown it to me". They say they were able to narrow down the source using the unique "microdots" in the printout, which identify the source printer, as well as the fact that victor had been in email contact with a news outlet, presumed to be The Intercept.
