In case it's not yet obvious, before watching this trailer I had little to no idea what Ready Player One was and without the synopsis above I honestly still wouldn't.

Parzival plays as an egg hunter - or gunter - and the goal behind the game is for someone to discover the hidden easter egg left behind by its creator, James Donovan Halliday (Mark Rylance), the founder of Gregarious Games. Ernest Cline is no exception, and his novel Ready Player One is definitely a love letter to the 80s wrapped up in a near-future science fiction adventure.

The highly anticipated "holy grail of pop culture" that is READY PLAYER ONE has dropped its first trailer at San Diego Comic-Con. This isn't the first time Spielberg has shared his vision of the future with audiences, as he also did so with A.I. You can watch the trailer in the section above. Pictures, Village Roadshow Pictures and DreamWorks Pictures, "Ready Player One" will be distributed by Warner Bros.

French Military Chief Resigns After Disagreement With Macron Over Budget Cuts
De Villiers is believed to have used foul language while criticising Macron's € 850 million cut in the defence budget. The leader of the hard-left France Unbowed, Jean-Luc Melenchon, called it an " enormous mistake " on Macron's part.

Check it out in theaters on March 30th, 2018. Among the star-studded cast bringing the film to life are Hannah John-Kamen, T.J. Miller, Ben Mendelsohn, Olivia Cooke, Tye Sheridan, and Kiera Bell.

Steven Spielberg's next film, Ready Player One, is looking very promising.

"When I read Ready Player One, it was like the most awesome flash forward and flash back at the same time to a decade I was really involved in, the 1980s, and to a future that's out there waiting for all of us". (It's one of the more recent retro characters in the movie, which is set in 2045.) In another shot, a muscle-bound avatar leaps through a junkyard and blasting apart a razor-claw-wielding Krueger from A Nightmare on Elm Street.
