Fox has said it will continue to investigate the story and provide updates as warranted but has not yet said it was wrong.

Fox retracted the story after just a week, admitting it did not meet its journalistic standards. Here's ABC's Tom llamas tonight.

The second read: "My investigation shows someone within the D.C. government, Democratic National Committee or Clinton team is blocking the murder investigation from going forward".

Rich, who worked for the Democratic National Committee, was fatally shot in Washington, D.C., in July 2016. Reporter: But it was not true, and Seth rich's parents were outraged amid mounting pressure. Butowsky said they were included because that is the way the President wanted the article, according to the complaint. But now wheeler is suing fox claiming his quotes were fabricated.

Vanity Fair correspondent and NBC News contributor Gabriel Sherman on Tuesday said in a Twitter post, "Ed Butowsky tells me federal lawsuit is "bullshit" and denies sharing Fox article with [the White House]".

Fox News denounced as "completely erroneous" accusations that it published the article "to help detract from coverage of the Russian Federation collusion issue". He really listened. He didn't say a whole lot.

Is Prince Philip dead? Daily Telegraph accidentally publishes Duke of Edinburgh obituary
But the Telegraph's website published an article with the headline " Prince Philip , Duke of Edinburgh , dies aged XX". Britain's Prince Philip is set to retire Wednesday at the age of 96 after 65 years of service.

"This was Rod and I", Butowsky said to CNN.

While many knew about Feinberg's dismissal from Sputnik and his opinion that his former employer is a propaganda machine, the allegations that he was sacked for refusing to help spread, and bring to light, the bogus Seth Rich conspiracy theory, appears to mean one thing: Russian Federation, like President Trump was trying to help push, spread and develop a Seth Rich story line that they knew certain media outlets would agree to publish. I'm not aware of that. He investigated the case but claims that the network inaccurately reported his findings as implicating Rich because "that is the way the President wanted the article".

The discussion then moved to Butowsky's meeting with former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer. Zimmerman did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Cuomo, confused, tried to get to the bottom of Butowsky's claims, particularly questioning if President Donald Trump reading a draft of the FoxNews.com article in question was a joke. "I've never talked to President Trump in my life". There was no immediate response from Fox or the White House. I was being sloppy with my words.

Rich's family says there is no evidence of that.

"It's completely untrue that he or the White House were involved in the story". He will be represented by Douglas Wigdor, the same lawyer representing several former Fox News employees, who are claiming that the news network tolerates sexual harassment in the office and other work-related issues including discrimination. Reporter: Yeah, David, and we should also note that this investigator is a Fox News contributor. One of the key points in the lawsuit is that after Zimmerman's now retracted story went up on May 16, Wheeler contacted her to tell her that she is misquoting him and to change the story, to which she allegedly replied that she would remove them if she could, but Fox News executives won't let her.
