For Honor, the PvP sword-fighting brawler from Ubisoft will be free to play this weekend on Xbox One, PC and PS4 according to the company. The free weekend will be followed by the game's third season Grudge and Glory on August 15.
In fact, those on PlayStation 4 and Uplay members can already pre-load the game right now.
In case you weren't aware of, Ubisoft has recently revealed that For Honor will be getting dedicated servers, and the game will continue to evolve through regular gameplay updates which take into account community feedback. Given the multiplayer focus, PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold will be required to play. With the free trial running from August 10-13, it gives players just enough time to build up some progression and decided if they want to continue that momentum with the paid version.
